Population and economy as the most important factors of national security

In the article is applied geopolitical going near the estimation of economy and population of Russia. The necessity of associate and synchronous development of economy and population is grounded, in these aims the estimation of crowd conditions of cross-correlation connection is conducted between these two indexes. A comparative analysis is conducted demographic and economic potentials of «ten» of the largest countries of the world. It is marked that demographic and economic potentials of Russia, by comparison to other basic constituents of geopolitical potential, presently are his most «weak links», that inevitably becomes the mestome of pressure on the state from outside. Grounded, that strengthening of «weak links» in geopolitical potential for Russia of beginning of XXI of century consists in an operative and orderly increase his demographic and economic constituents, along with maintenance at sufficient level and defensive potential. Summed up, that in accordion terms impermissible delay with development of economy and population of Russia.
